We don’t take impressions of your teeth the old fashioned way. No more trays full of goo. Using state-of-the-art technology, our iTero Element 5D Intraoral Digital Scanner takes a virtual impression of your teeth and mouth producing an identical computer generated model. With this computer generated model, among many other uses, we can make dental crowns that fit and match exactly, including color and translucency.

The iTero Element 5D imaging system does not emit harmful radiation to capture images, making it possible to scan the structure of patients’ teeth in real time. The iTero Element 5D is the first intraoral scanner to use near-infrared imaging (NIRI) to scan the internal structure of the teeth, allowing the diagnosis of carious lesions or cavities, without using harmful radiation inherent with traditional X-ray imaging.

Due to its radiation-free technology, the iTero Element 5D scanner may become the standard for routine monitoring that can help catch cavities earlier, while at the same time avoiding patient exposure to excessive and repetitive radiation.
