Your first visit to our office will be a
time for us to get to know each other.
You will be introduced to each member of
our staff as we want to welcome you to
our dental family. As a new patient, it
is important to get to know not only
you, but also what your specific dental
needs are. During this visit, we will
talk about the following topics:
 |
Oral Hygiene |
 |
Existing/Necessary Restorations |
 |
TMJ and bite issues |
 |
Gum Disease and Bone Loss |
 |
Occlusion Interferences |
 |
Aesthetic Improvements |
 |
Oral Cancer |
At this time, your dental and medical
health history will be reviewed. The way
in which medical health conditions
affect your dental health will also be
discussed.
You will be asked to share goals for
your own dental health to make sure we
reach them. A complete set of
radiographs and/or study models, if
necessary will be taken. Photographs
will also be taken if necessary as well.
The final part of your first visit will
be to watch a video recording of your
mouth. This allows you to see your mouth
through the eyes of the dentist.
We will propose a treatment plan of
necessary restorations and cosmetic
suggestions above all keeping in mind
the level of dental health you hope to
attain.
Above all we want to make sure that you
reach the optimal level of health,
functions, comfort, and appearance.
