We see children of all ages
and encourage you to bring
your child in around the age
of 3 years old for their
first dental checkup.
Children's teeth begin
forming before birth. As
early as 4 months, the first
primary (baby) teeth erupt
through the gums. All 20 of
the primary teeth usually
begin to appear by age 3,
but the pace and order in
which they do so will vary
from child to child. To
ensure oral health of your
child follow these following
recommendations:
1) Limit children's
sugar intake
2) Make sure children
get enough fluoride,
either through drinking
water or chewable
tablets
3) Teach your child how
to brush and floss
correctly
4) Supervise brushing
and help with flossing
as this can be hard for
small hands
